Join renowned encaustic artist Willow Bader to learn to paint with this thrilling medium. Supplies are included, so you can relax and play. As Willow always says, "It's just paint!" She will show you step by step how to create rich, textural artwork using beeswax and resin with an electric griddle as a palette! The two-day workshop will inspire you to experiment fuss-free. Let Willow help you create simple representational paintings full of color, texture, and luminous layers of paint.

Working from photos Willow will guide you through the techniques of painting, scraping, and using the torch to make representational images with encaustics. Lucky participants in this class will learn her tried-and-true methods. Class topics include composition, color mixing, brush stroke, and using a heated palette.
All paint, tools, brushes, griddles and wood panels will be supplied for a fee of $60.00 payable to the instructor first day of class.
